ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
IMPORTANT LIHEAP CALENDAR INFORMATION
The LIHEAP online calendar will open Tuesday October 8th at 9 am, for Clallam County appointments and October 14th at 9 am for Jefferson County appointments. Please remember to make an appointment for the county where you live.
Additional Opening Dates for both counties: December 3rd, 2019 for January and February appointments and January 7th, 2020 for March and April appointments
The calendar will remain open until filled. If you do not get an immediate appointment, keep trying, as there may be cancellations. There will be a limited number of appointments available at each office location for those who do not have internet access or need assistance signing up for an appointment.

Important Note: OlyCAP reserves a limited number of appointments each Monday for people in imminent crisis defined as; a 72-hour shutoff notice, disconnected for nonpayment, or without heat/fuel (during LIHEAP season only). Once appointments are filled, we will have no more until the following week. Please contact us Monday mornings for best availability.
There is no guarantee funds will be available at the time of appointment. Please continue to pay your energy bills or make payment arrangements with your utility provider
Limited appointments are available at the Quilcene Community Center on Wednesdays October 23rd, November 6th, and November 13th.
Limited appointments are available at the Brinnon Community Center on Tuesdays October 29th and November 12th.
The Port Angeles online appointment calendar is currently full. It will reopen on December 3rd 2019 for January and February appointments
Rate Payer (Clallam County PUD)/ Pass the Buck (City of Port Angeles)
These programs may assist with up to $150 for those who have a shutoff notice or need deposit assistance.
Rainy Day (Jefferson County PUD)
This program may assist with up to $500 for those who have a shutoff notice. Click here for information regarding the Jefferson County PUD Rate Reduction Program.
Canal Comfort Fund (Mason County PUD)
This program may assist with $150. These funds can be accessed only once per 12-month period and not in excess of the amount owing on the shut off portion of a utility bill or the amount needed for a deposit.
