Head Start and ECEAP offer comprehensive services to families and children that are low income or have special needs. The program offers quality early childhood education, family support, health and nutrition services, as well as parent education.
Services are offered to families of pregnant woman and children from birth to five. Services options include home based services, full day with childcare support, and part day services. These services vary by location.
Supervised visitation and transfers - by appointment only 3 to 5pm Fridays and Sundays at Port Hadlock Community Methodist Church whose parents are involved in divorce and custody disputes.
Parent line operates two programs: Warm Line and Child Care Resource & Referral. Warm line services include information and referral for all parenting concerns and help with problem solving for parenting issues. "Child Care Resource & Referral" is a free service to parents helping them locate licensed child care in Clallam & Jefferson counties. Support to child care providers. Parents are offered assistance through workshops on how to select quality childcare. Family support services for drug deferred court and families with drug and alcohol addictions. Provides supervised visits for civil cases. Provides free child care for homeless families and for families with parents in alcohol and drug recovery programs. Provides enhanced referral for children with special needs. Family support services for juvenile drug court.
