Services: YIPPEE (Youth Iniative Pilot Project, Examples in Excellence) is a collaborative program sponsored by Jefferson County and Washington State University. The program is designed to keep children involved in an active and fun learning environment. Key program features include: homework assistance and tutoring; field trips; skill-building activities; community service opportunities; hands-on educational activities; snacks; and life-long recreational skills.
Eligibility: Classes are split into two age groups: ages 7-9 and ages 10-12. Parents can sign their children up for a whole semester or on a monthly basis. The fee schedule is based on ability to pay and scholarships are available.
