BUS AIDE for Hamilton Head Start, Port Angeles. 20 hours – Tues thru Friday $8.35 hour. Ensure safety protocol is adhered to in transportation of children. Client Service Specialist / Community Jobs :Provide intensive case management for job training participants; provide service to customers with emergent needs; social service knowledge required. Full time, Port Townsend area position with benefits.$11.01 an hour. Job oversees the daily provision of services to clients within a specified region, to include supervision, resource development, community/provider relations and service delivery. DENTIST: Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP) is seeking a lead dentist for its innovative clinic now under construction in downtown Port Angeles.  The OlyCAP Oral Health Center will provide hygiene and dental care to low-income, uninsured people.  It will also serve as the site for clinical education for students in dental hygiene offered through a collaboration of Peninsula and Pierce Colleges. The Center is being constructed with seven chairs, a lab and numerous state-of-the-art pieces of equipment. Our presiding dentist will be a hands-on leader, providing routine general dentistry as he/she oversees clinical activity in the Oral Health Center.  A full-time schedule is anticipated, but may be negotiated.  D.D.S. or D.M.D. (or equivalent degree) is required as is a license to practice dentistry in the State of Washington.  Clinical duties will cover the full scope of primary dentistry.  Experience in the delivery of public health dentistry and/or in dental education is preferred, but not required.  Our experienced support team and this unique avenue of service combine to make this a fantastic opportunity. Director of Housing Improvement Programs needed at OlyCAP to plan, develop, coordinate and manage housing improvement programs which preserve housing for low-income residents in Clallam and Jefferson Counties.  Experience in weatherization, housing rehabilitation, budgeting, grants, contracts and leadership skills needed.  Salary D.O.E., Exempt, M-F, Good Benefits Job Responsibilities: Assess housing needs of the low-income population in Clallam and Jefferson Counties; Collaborate with various local, private and public agencies to identify measures to address needs; Identify sources of funding for programs and write grants and requests for proposals; Develop and oversee all operational aspects of funded housing improvement programs to include budgeting, evaluation systems, hiring of staff, and reporting of program data; Maintain thorough working knowledge of government and private housing issues and practices; Attend pertinent meetings, workshops, and conferences; .Maintain productive working relationships with local contractors, government entities, and social services agencies; Maintain good working relationships with funding agencies and other agencies with regulatory authority over programs within the division; Assure that all local, state, regional, and federal code and licensing requirements are met; Coordinate the efforts of and provide general management support to division staff; Provide supportive leadership and training to all Housing Improvement Programs staff. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience; Three years experience in  weatherization and housing rehabilitation, planning budget preparation and grant and contract administration; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a group setting; Experience in working with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; Knowledge of housing programs, real estate development, and property management; Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise. Ability to work effectively under pressure or stress; Flexibility and strength to climb stairs, and walk various kinds of construction sites; Ability to travel throughout service area; Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
